Our MonaVie story started 2 ½ years ago when a friend brought a “wine” bottle to Lana’s birthday party.

Lana started with MonaVie Pulse with hopes that it will help with her cholesterol. 3 months after using it regularly test results showed 40 point drop. As soon as RVL became available we ordered it. Both of us had very good results: 15lb and 22lb off and kept it off for almost a year now.

We are in our mid-forties and have 2 young children. We also, have a history of stroke and cancer in our families. We want to be able to go to our kid’s weddings, to spend time with our grandchildren. Staying healthy for as long as possible with MonaVie products became one of our priorities. We owe it to our children.

After promoting MonaVie for 2 years why weren’t we having great business results like so many other people? We would get stuck at each level . We believed the product worked. We believed the business model worked: we did make some money, we attended events and met people who made it big in MonaVie.

Listening to Randy Schroeder one day, it hit me: do you believe you can do it? So, there it was.

Turned out we had to work on ourselves.

What did we do differently this time? We discovered 3 “musts” and we worked it:

1. Must set a goal and a date for your goal. Without it it becomes some event in the future that never comes.

So we had to make all our calls by Dec 23 (deadline for the cruise qualification). There was no turning back or keep postponing it.

Every day we made at least 5 calls and met with at least 1 person.

2. Must develop the knowledge of what you really want and make it so real , tangible, like you can touch it. With the cruise as a prize we could feel the warm sun, we could hear the sound of the ocean, could almost taste the salty water, etc.

3. Must find active upline, connect with them, tell them what your goals are. We would not have done it without our active upline, Diamond Executives Valentina and Paul Meehan. We partnered up: We’d make an initial call and then they will follow up with a call or set a meeting. One day in our second week of qualification Lana remembers texting Valentina Meehan: “ I am so frustrated :made 14 calls (some were new prospects , others were follow-ups ,)and nobody picked up the phone or called back!” It was a really bad day for moral. But, Valentina was able to center me on the activity itself, not on the immediate result.

Qualifying for Gold Executive and the Cruise gives us a sense of accomplishment, belief in ourselves. It also, became a great rehearsal for what it takes to go to the next level. We’ll see you at Diamond destination!

Resolutions vs Goal Setting

For most average people, it is right around this flip of the calendar page, when New Year’s Resolutions are already a distant memory. Just for fun, I googled the definition of New Year’s Resolution: a promise that you make to yourself to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year. It is an American tradition to quickly ramble off a list of things like “I am going to work out more, eat less sugar, spend more time with family, get organized…” Does that list look familiar? It is almost expected that our New Year’s Resolutions will be quickly forgotten and become nothing but a stab of guilt in our side, yet another failure chalked up on our life’s scoreboard…

Maybe, that is precisely what they are designed to be! A check list of exactly what we do not want in our life. Making resolutions is a place to start in our evaluation of our life. We can only begin to know what we DO want, once we know what we DON’T want! Resolutions should be a beginning to an evaluation of the past and a leap board to setting goals for the future.

How big of a game do you want to play? Do you really want to fulfill the dreams God has placed in your heart? Not the dreams and goals you fantasize about or occasionally think about every now and then or just simply hope for. But these are dreams and goals that will create passion in your life, that move you into daily, monthly and yearly Action. Dreams and goals that bring emotion because of the clear sacrifices that have been made preceding long aspired victories. Yes, dreams and goals create miracles and accomplishment. And equally important, dreams and goals can create balance, priorities and life-enhancement.

There was a well-known study of the Harvard University class of '53. In this study, the researchers revealed that only 10 percent of the students had established any goals at all, and that only three percent of the men and women in that class had written their goals down on paper. Twenty years later, the researchers again interviewed those very same former class members. They were involved in their careers and had families now. The three percent who two decades earlier had written down their goals were now worth more in economic terms than the entire remaining 97 percent of the class combined! Of course financial success isn't everything, but this study clearly shows the results of writing down your goals.

I would like to share a few simple steps to get you on track to living the life of your dreams. Today, take some time to REALLY reflect about your dreams. How do you see yourself 1 year from now, 3 years, 5 years & even 10 years. Look at all areas of your life – spiritual, emotional, physical, social, financial, intellectual. Write down some of your past successes. This will help you realize that God has designed you already equipped with everything you need to be successful at anything you desire. Seriously reflect on those goals & dreams that God has designed truly unique to you. Make a list of 50 items you would like to accomplish in the next 10 years. Write down everything from organizing your closet, to starting your own business, to writing a book, to owning your own private jet!

Now pick the top 3 to 4 realistic goals that you know are attainable this year. Make sure this realistic goal is very specific and is measureable. Example – not “I want to lose weight” but “I want to lose 10 pounds by June 1, I will eat more healthy foods and exercise every day.” Not “I want to make more money” but “I want a $10,000 a year raise by June 1 – I will add value to my company by coming in earlier every day.”
A very important and frequently over looked component to taking the action necessary to achieving success is the accountability factor! Share your goal with a positive, successful person you trust to encourage you. When someone knows what your goals are, they help hold you accountable. Being accountable to your committed, disciplined, and sustained action is the final ingredient in the miracle process of materializing any achievement you can conceive.

Visualize yourself as if you have already have achieved your dream life. Contemplate the price you will pay for not achieving your goals and dreams. It is also important to acknowledge and celebrate the small achievements along the way in reaching your big goals. Strive for a balanced mind, body & soul. Make the promise to yourself to design your best year ever! No matter how last year was for you…this year can be even better. Dream it! Believe it! Achieve it!

Hi,

I am so excited about the new MonaVie Perks Program. One of the reason’s people quit MonaVie is because once they start to feel better or lose the weight they forget how they used to look and feel. Then their credit card bill comes in and they think that looking good and feeling good cost too much. Well, now MonaVie came up with a way that actually costs you money NOT to be on auto ship. Yes, it will actually cost you money to drop out!

We just enrolled in the new Perks Program and during the first week we saved $93.00! How you ask?

1. We have a $40.00 co-pay on our United Health Care prescription plan for some prescriptions. They have some crazy formula, some prescriptions are $10, some are $20 and some are $40, go figure…

I went to Walgreens and paid $40 for a prescription and then as I was walking out of the store, I looked at the fine print on the receipt and it said “your prescription plan saved you $2.49.” In other words, if I didn’t have insurance the script would have been $42.49, big deal. So I asked the pharmacist if he would try to run the prescription on my MonaVie Health and Happiness Card. He wasn’t too thrilled and thought that it wouldn’t save any money. When he went to his computer his eyes lit up and he said. I will re-run your prescription on this card and your co-pay will only be $15.00.
I just saved $25.00…
2. Later in the week I had another prescription filled, this one saved $3.00
I just saved $3.00
3. I went on line before we went out to dinner on Tuesday night and looked at the MonaVie Perks site. I found a new Japanese restaurant that we had never gone to before and printed a coupon. We had a great meal with our friends and when the check came we saved $15.00 plus 10% of the check.
I just saved another $25.00

Believe That You Can!

Are you struggling with your MonaVie business? Do you sometimes feel like you are being criticized, ridiculed and are failing? I want to encourage you to know that the purpose of life is to live a life of purpose. You are a person with a Big Dream and people are taking notice!!! I am re-reading a wonderful book by Jentezen Franklin, "Believe That You Can". I want to share a passage that I believe will encourage you to persevere:

Every vision and dream will go through the process of birth, death, and resurrection. You have not really realized a dream unless you’ve carried a burden, gotten all excited because you have given birth to a newborn vision, and then, sadly, watched what appears to be a death. The vision dies – people leave; the money goes away; the situation goes haywire; you just can’t figure out what to do about it.
Then, and only then, God will come through with a resurrection. He uses that process to sanctify that dream so that when it really does come to pass, it will not be an egotistical thing for you. Instead, you can declare, “I almost gave up on my dream. I doubted the vision, but the Lord did it anyway!” You will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God did it, because it used to look so hopeless. See, it really was bigger than you were. You really could not have brought that thing back to life like that. God broke the limits off. He raised it back up. He finished what He started.
If you are in the middle of that process right now, don’t give up! Seek encouragement and a new supply of faith. Hold on; help is coming.

It's been a few days now since driving from Indianapolis to Chicago to attend the Chicago meeting and I'm still running on all the exciting energy that was there Friday night! We started by sampling the new RVL Berry flavored shakes along with the Chocolate Vegan shake. We were able to purchase RVL products along with 2oz shots and limited apparel. It was mentioned that the only way we can purchase the new Berry shake is by attending the events and there is no date in the future for it to be sold online. So if you want to get some of the Berry shake, better find an event to attend. You won't be sorry as this was probably one of the most informational meetings I've attended in a while.

There were several give-a-ways......tickets to the Convention in St. Louis! If you wore an "I Am MonaVie" t-shirt, you could put your name into a drawing and win 2 tickets; the person with the most guests (that was 8 guests) won 2 tickets; and the person who lost the most weight on RVL (which was 105 lbs) won 2 tickets.

We were also able to buy a new EMV original flavor using the jabuticaba and all proceeds went to the MORE Project.

I felt the meeting was very classy/professional in explaining the products in detail along with how important the business is and the direction it is headed. (Very good for taking guests) The company was confirming they are here to help everyone obtain their goals, whatever that may be. No time was wasted in the 2 1/2 hour meeting.

Jeff talked about the USA Today insert. He explained that USA Today came to MonaVie asking us to participate in the campaign and USA Today chose the 5 cities to target. He felt we should all know THEY approached MonaVie which is a pretty big deal.

Jeff pointed out again that MonaVie has 17 years of patent protection on the Acai Berry!

Nine out of 19 fruits will never be bought in a store!

Acai Berry is 70% fat: -may prevent heart disease -may reduce cholesterol

We are looking into starting projects in India (Rising Star) and a few other countries similar to Brazil's MORE project.

Conference call daily with your support group. Start your day with a conversation and report to each other at the end of the day. Accountability!

My name is Veronique Maillot, and I am MONAVIE. I reside in Montreal, Qc Canada. I found Monavie by searching on the web, working with elderly I am always looking for something good for them and myself. I email Monavie Head Office requesting how I can purchase the products. I was informed that some one would be contacting me. After few try, finally someone contacted me from N.Y. I inform him that I only wanted the product for personnel use. Louis my upline told me to order 3 cases of Active (it will cost me less) and register on the auto ship which I did (I wish everyone will so easy).

I was the only one in my family drinking the juice my husband and daughter where not as enthusiasm about it as I was. I did share it with some of my residents, they just love it, feel better, and had bowel movement on a daily basis (this is big for elderly), they where walking better and longer and sleeping better, some their blood pressure medication where lower by their physician, etc…

In 2009 we have a health crisis, my husband a very healthy and fit man as been diagnostic with a multitude of metastases on his pancreas, liver and bladder!!!

The doctors need to do the entire test to see how far and big the metastases are.

On my return home I told my husband that he would drink the Monavie juice every day about 6 to 8 ounces a day and sometime more I did not care I had nothing to loose.

At work all my residents, staffs, families and friends where praying we do BELIEVE in the LORD what I had to do it to ensure proper nutrition to my husband, Monavie and all the fresh fruits nuts spinach I could find I will feed it to my husband. Once the batteries of test complete we are summonses to the doctor office he start informing us why all these test where done and he does not understand but they cannot find any metastases.

I say to the doctor it is because of all the prierers of all these wonderful seniors, employees, friends and family where doing at the moment and prior and this juice MONAVIE. He told what ever you did work now go home and celebrate. I do not have to tell you that this Doctor is on Monavie.

I was still working the Retirement homes I was managing was out of town so I brought my cases to the site and give my Monavie to all who wanted some I could believe it I know Monavie was good it just prove it to me. This what the juice did to my husband I do not know what it will do to others but he cannot be bad.

Late 2010 I was inform that my service where no longer needed after 5 years the last 4 very successful they decide to go to another direction, that is OK. I got another contract out of town. I did it for 3 months I did not wan to work out of town anymore, I wanted to do something else but did not know what. By being a certify coach I need something where I could help people to achieve greatness in their life’s FINALLY a couple of months ago I had a AHHH moment MONAVIE !! It has been there all that time.

I am now full time in Monavie the PATH that I have been praying for, for the last 4 years.

When Stacy call me regarding the GOLD RUSH and ask me if I would participate in the

GOLD RUSH in 90 days I jump to the occasion.

I will do everything they tell me to do I will be on the BEACH in Hawai as a BLACK DIAMOND with all of you.2011/2012 is OUR years.

I started drinking MV Active about 6 years ago for overall health concerns--no energy; daily headaches; etc. After a couple months of drinking MV, my headaches were gone and my energy level was back to normal. I began giving MV Active to family members and close friends who showed great results as well. My daughter started drinking it after a serious surgery and we couldn't believe how it helped her rehab by reducing the inflammation. After this happened, we decided to check into the product by attending a tasting and the rest is history! When RVL was available, I began adding those products to my diet and lost 19 pounds. Being a flight attendant, RVL has become a staple while on the road along with the EMV products. My overall health has improved so much since I became committed to MonaVie. The products continue to amaze me and I have a hard time believing there's a company out there superior to MonaVie. The leadership has always had the distributors as one of their top priorities.

1. Decide exactly what you want your life to look like in 90 days.

- Health: Me, my family, and the people I care about the most will all be

healthy and fit because of our commitment to MonaVie

- Net Worth: I will be a blessing with my blessings as I tithe 10% of my

weekly income to my local church and invest the second 10% in my future.

2. Write down and post on a Dream Board, on your bathroom mirror, in your

day-timer, on the dash of your car, on your refrigerator all of your goals and

dreams for your life!

- Use "I am" statements: I am Gold December 2011

3. Make written deadlines for yourself: Examples:

- I will be Gold Executive December 2011.

- I will personally sponsor 3 people per month and help them go Star

- I will schedule 2 One-to-Ones per week

- I will devote 1 hour per day listening, reading about MVP

- I will read 30 minutes per day from a positive book ( How to Win Friends

and Influence People, Think and Grow Rich, etc.)

4. Identify the obstacles you will need to overcome to achieve success. (Hint:

the economy is not an obstacle, we all share the same economic wind and check

story of how they set their sails to win!)

5. Identify the skills you will need to learn. Be - Do - Have! When you Become

you will Do what is necessary to Have your dream life!

This works on any objection.

Let’s put all of this together.
In these examples, we are going to stay very basic and not go too

far too fast. Right now, what I want you to get from this training is

the structure and the process--the mechanics.

6 Of the most common objections

While you could validate , neutralize and move forward with a

great deal of success using the information you have learned so

far, let’s talk about a few things that are a bit more objection-

specific.

Validate "I appreciate you letting me know that up front."

Always validate the objection

Remember, maintain and increase your prospect’s self-

esteem.

After you have heard their objection, you validate it by saying

something like:

I appreciate you sharing that with me.

Or

I appreciate you letting me know that up front.

Step 2

Neutralize the objection

When you neutralize the objection, it does two things:

One, it prevents it from coming up again

Two, it gives the person room and does not make either of you feel

like you are in a debate.

Many times this is done with some type of question…

How do you feel about that?

Or

What if this is something you would be interested in and you did not

take a look at it?

Or

If I did not have the information I do I would feel the same way you

do.

Is the glass 1/2 full or 1/2 empty???

People see things differently. We all make decisions based on our own perception of the truth, not necessarily the actual truth! In dealing with people, it is very important to not think about being right or wrong - it is OK for someone to have a different point of view. When we are faced with a spoken objection, we want to be prepared to overcome it and help our friend see our point of view and how we can help them. Objections and Rejections are two very different experiences!

This is a lesson I learned very early in my career as a sales rep in the golf & tennis industry. When someone did not place an order with me, I knew they were not rejecting me, Shelly, they simply did not like the colors, styles or price of the garments I was presenting. I had built relationships with people, if they didn't like me - they would not have given me the opportunity to present my wares. The Company I represented was the opportunity - I was simply the messenger!

When they said, no thank you, no order this season. Now, it was up to me to gently overcome any objection they may have. With a smile on my face and love in my heart, I simply wanted them to see, from my point of view, how wonderful my product was, how much it would benefit them and why they should consider purchasing my line of sportswear...

Over the next several days, I will offer some suggestion on how to handle and overcome common objections when dealing with people in your MonaVie business.

A Dream without a plan is just a wish, but a Dream WITH a plan is an unstoppable combination!

Day 30 I suggested a few micro/daily goals to make for yourself. This will add up to be your weekly MonaVie goals:

1. I will meet with 3 MonaVie Prospects just for coffee or lunch to listen to their goals & dreams to see if they may be interested in attending a presentation. I will give them a CD - Your First Look - to listen to on the way home, then I will schedule the best time to call them in a day or two.

2. Follow up with the people I met last week, or placed bottles or 3 day "fab 5" with.

3. I will show the plan and sponsor a minimum of 1 person either as a preferred customer to get started or a new distributor. Obviously, the more I do the faster my business will grow!

4. I will help my new distributors become Star & Star Makers.

5. I am a MonaVie Diamond, I do the activities as if I already have achieved my goals, then I will Have the lifestyle of my dreams!!!

Day 26 Gold Rush Coaching - Recruiting

Keep your dreams in front of you at all times!!!

This industry is sometimes referred to as "relational marketing". I like that term. People want to do business with people they admire, trust, respect, value and like. Become "that" person by reading books like "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

Then you will want to put yourself around people! I would like to suggest you simply get involved in activities that you enjoy doing. You will then be able to meet people who you have something in common. If you are a stay at home mom - join some Mommy Groups. If you like sports- join a league, volunteer coach, attend games, join a booster alumni club, etc. Take a class on something that interest you. Get involved in the community. Volunteer for a charity. Attend charitable and fund-raising events. Have FUN!!!

Smile : ) MORE! Strike up conversations with people at the gym, school, coffee shop, restaurants, stores, offices, kid's activities, and even at the library or bookstores.

It is a great idea to catch people doing something good, give compliments and be interested in them. I tell my kids that you need to be a friend to make friends. Try to find some common ground. Chances are they will like you, and ask you about why you are so happy... MonaVie, of course! They may just know someone looking...

This is a wonderful process, you meet the most interesting people along the way to building relationships and a business! Why not make a goal to add at least 1 new person to your list everyday!!!

Robert Girandola, Ed.D, Associate Professor of Kinesiology of the University of Southern California, will present a poster on a 2010 study of MonaVie EMV at the American College of Sports Medicine 58th Annual Meeting and 2nd World Congress on Exercise is Medicine, May 31–June 4.

Among other things, the study concluded that participants showed no significant increase in heart rate from drinking MonaVie EMV, as consumers often experience from drinking other caffeine-loaded energy drinks. With its natural sources of caffeine from green tea, guarana, and yerba mate, MonaVie EMV contains less caffeine than many energy drinks. Participants who drank MonaVie EMV also experienced a 20 percent increase in memory. An abstract of the study can be found in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, Volume 43, #5, May 2011.
